AIRPLANE SLOW LANE

Well I went down to the airport late last night
I had to make it on time for a red-eye flight
The guy at the gate said man you're late
Do an x-ray or a pat-down and we'll get you thru the gate

He searched me up one side and down the other
I said I ain't no kid and you're not my mother
So you better be careful where your hands trespass
Don't touch my junk and don't touch my...

Well, I'm in the airplane slow lane to be patted down
Or scanned like a document to get off the ground
Yeah the airplane slow lane to be patted down
Gotta leave a day early just to get outta town

Well I coulda took the train or drove my truck outta there
But I thought it would be faster to go in the air
I'm not one to complain or say it ain't right
But airport security is makin' me uptight

Ya gotta take off your belt, take off your shoes
And if your watch goes "tick" you'll be singin' the blues
Raise your arms and say cheese for your pose
Or get felt up like a melon underneath your clothes

I'm in the airplane slow lane to be patted down
Or scanned like a document to get off the ground
The airplane slow lane to be patted down
Gotta leave a day early just to get outta town

I said I ain't no monk, but don't touch my junk
He said mind your manners or you'll go to the scanners
'cause I'm the boss here, punk

I'm in the airplane slow lane to be patted down
Or scanned like a document to get off the ground
Yeah the airplane slow lane to be patted down
Gotta leave a day early just to get outta town

About the Artist
Hal Lee Singer, who with his wife Georganna Barry-Singer (Georgie) created the music for Mitchell Stone's lyrics of "Airplane Slow Lane," also sings the lead
vocals on the song. In fact, living up to his last name, Hal performs
all the vocal parts of "Airplane Slow Lane." In addition, the multi-talented
Hal L. Singer plays all the instruments heard in the song except the drums. He is also its sole arranger and producer.

An accomplished musician for decades, Hal and his RPM Band have backed rock legends Denny Laine (the Moody Blues, Paul McCartney's Wings), the
Spencer Davis Group, and others. He also fronts the rock-nostalgia group the Sixties Sensation.

Several years ago, Hal and Georganna relocated to Las Vegas from Hollywood, California. They now own and operate a number of successful Vegas-based
music enterprises, including SPS Records and Singer Production Studios (where "Airplane Slow Lane" was produced). Their specialties span the music
spectrum: everything from pop rock to country, holiday, country rock, r&b, and pure, good ol' rock & roll may be expected from the "House of Singer."
Their numerous album releases prove that. Extraordinary original songs such as Dirty Lies...Get the Hell Out of Hollywood...Cry Margie Cry...
I Saw Hanukkah Harry Beat Up Santa...and Not Another Love Song, all are products of Hal and Georgie's magnificent musical minds.

Throughout the years, a major point of pride for Emstone Music Publishing has been its ongoing affiliation with Hal L. Singer and Georganna Barry-Singer.
